6.0 trans cooler for 7.3 question...

Will the 6.0 cooler bolt right in or will I need to modify anything?

Bolts right in place of the smaller 7.3 cooler it is replacing.

You'll need 2 each 3/8 to 1/2 inch hose barb reducers, but it does just bolt in. Some good "how to" threads with pics here, search around.

Okay great...is this the 31 row or the 26 row?
And what's all that about anyway?

I am not sure how many rows this has. But from what I have read there doesn't appear to be too much, if any difference between them as far as performance.

Mark K, who knows these things, said they are the same. The 26 row has slightly improved design which makes it equivalent to the 31 row.

If you aren't in a hurry, put it in your cart nd watch the price go up and down. Mine came direct from Amazon (vs. a 3rd party) and I waited until the price dropped to about $156.

The Amazon $156 becomes ~$168 after fees are added.

Mine came direct from Amazon, so free shipping and no other fees.

Edit: Just looked on Amazon again, and it appears Amazon is not stocking the coolers at this time.
