New (to me) E350, new problems (wiring, coolant leaks)

My new E350 Super Duty has a lot of stray wiring bits sticking out from under the dash, if this is OEM I wouldn't mind, but I have a feeling it isn't. Any advice on what to do with this?

The only real issue I see which could be caused by this is (1) The headlights (HID) don't have high beam at all (2) the dome lights where unplugged which I'll assume is because they stay on and drain the battery.

And after installing the new coolant temp sensor, my gauge cluster doesn't seem to register the vehicle warming up... I replaced the thermostat, and am attempting to change the coolant as well. Although I don't want to put anything other than water now because It seems there is a leak in the passenger side wheel well. It's only a drip every other second, and it only appears to leak with the engine running.

I tried to upload the pictures on this post directly, but it wouldn't let me. Here is an album: https://imgur.com/a/7xxxe

I know this is a lot, but if anyone reading all this recognizes some of these problems and their solutions, please let me know!

P.S. should the coolant temp sensor by torqued flush? I've got it threaded a good ways, but it feels like it may snap if I turn it any further

Looking at this pictures of the wiring, I am going to guess it was for some sort of vehicle alarm system that was in place, does your van currently have one? Remote Start? I see a lot of these jobs that are absolutely HACKED into vehicles, If you do not have the alarm any longer verify where the wires go, take some photos and then remove them and secure and repair them properly.

Yes that's definitely an aftermarket alarm.

You could just snip and then insulate the wires if you want. Or if you're very concerned then take it to a professional for removal.

If the wires are bothering you, maybe roll them up and zip-tie them out of sight. I wouldn't "snip and insulate" in case they have the ignition or starter or fuel pump wired through any of the alarm harness.

Thanks for the replies, yeah I was worried maybe the wires would be hot or something and I don't wanna get shocked haha, it just looks really ratty and I'm having an issue with headlights not working at all now, let alone high beams.

I've come to the conclusion that what I thought was just the AC condenser sweating, is it normal for it to be a steady drip while idling though? Checked the heater core and it didn't leak a drop.

Also if anyone runs into the problem of their temp sensor not threading in all the way, and not working I finally figured it out. The temp sensor is what threads into the head (I believe), the temp sender is what bolts to the front of the engine which relays the temperature to the dash. Probably not many other people have had this issue, but I seem to run into all of them with any project I take haha.

so long as its not dripping coolant, and the dripping liquid is clear and does not smell like coolant, i would call that a normal operating condition.

Again, I am not being allowed to upload images directly to my post so I apologize for linking from outside my post but here is the last album I'll post: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

There is a bracket which was welded onto the frame and it doesn't appear to be stock, am I missing an oem bracket to hold that cable? Or is it supposed to be held at all?

And if anyone immediately recognizes what that small (vacuum line-esque) hose is sticking out underneath the driver side is, please inform me. It looks to be plugged with some kind of glue, something clear. Just looks a little rigged in to me.
