Vent glass help!

I've looked all over and can't find the material that holds the vent wing glass to its frame for my 66CC1/2ton. The closest I could find was the same material that's used on the door glass to its lift channel but that's too thin and won't hold the glass firm. Anyone know where to find the rubber for this vent glass? Thanks

I'm sure you checked all the usual suppliers, what about Steele Rubber?

I knew a guy at a glass shop, he's gone now, that did mine and used some kind of material that went on like caulking and dried like rubber, been on 10+ years with no problem. Have you talked to a local glass shop?

Believe it's referred to as 'glass setting tape', comes in few different thicknesses. Most Ford part supplier's carry the tape, suggest check w/ local part supplier's, I ended up purchasing a roll, far too much, of 3/64" and it was too thin. Doubled it up and works fine.

Recently reconditioned the vent windows on the 65's. I went with DC vent window seals but found they are thick and can be difficult to close, perhaps other member's have found a better source? Once the glass is removed is the time to replace or repair window hinges, and pivot arms. Also, possibly find the inside of the frame, at the elbow, rusted and should be cleaned, treated, then apply some type of protected coating before installing the glass.

It's called glass tape .. available from any auto glass shop. See # in parts catalog pic. Retains the vent glass to the 21608 frame and the door glass to the 21458 channel.

The vent window rubber (right & left specific - 21448 right side shown in pic) is reproduced, available from all the repro parts sellers.

Hiball-no but I will try to find them online.
I will check with local glass shop on Monday.
Nunberdummy- thanks as always. That's the first exploded view that shows that membrane(?)
I've got one side set up to use black silicone but that's gonna be very messy. So I'll search for this material if I can find it first.
Thanks to all for your help. I'm getting closer with my M100
