2014 and 34" tires installed

Size: 4.83 MBHello all,

I just got back from getting my Falken WildPeak A/T3W LT285/75-17 E10 ply tires installed. ....ZERO rubbing!

the tire specs from web site is:

LT285/75R17 E/10 121/118S

Overall Diameter 33.9"
section Width 11.1"
revs/ mile 617 (speedo is 10% high. 50 indicated is 55 GPS)
tread width 8.7"
tread Depth 18/32"
weight 65.5 Lbs
Max PSI 80
Max Load 3195 each

I asked to have the RED dot clocked to the valve stem and they balanced with minimal weights on rim.

First impression on ride home is that they are very quiet and rolled well. they are very smooth driving down the road with 50 psi in each.

truck is a 2014 XLT, ECO, Screw 6.5 box .... Fleet vehicle (LT tires, block heater, back up beeper)

Looks good. Those seem to have a nice sidewall also.

Nice to know that size will fit a stock truck. I only went up to a 275/70 R18.

Thanks!

No leveling kit or other lift?
How much difference in acceleration and braking did you notice going with that heavy of a tire?

All stock. no leveling kit.

The accel is a little noticeable the braking is not changed or I have not noticed it.

When I am backing up and the rear is higher, there is a slight rub of the inner liner at full lock turn but when the truck levels out... there is not issue.

mileage .... I have none, even w/ 3.31 gears. But that was before the tires. I average about 14 even. I've reset throttle, clean K&N air cleaner, drilled the hole in air cooler, and have a 3" cat back w/ open muffler.

I live in hill country.

If I get into flat land, I have averaged 23 mpg w/ these tires.

I just purchased 275/65R20 34X11 on aftermarket 8"wheels I'm hoping they fit. It sounds like they will fit nicely.

my tires are rub free, in all positions now that I zip tied the passenger inner wheel well liner in the position it should have been in from factory.

Excellent tires. They are heavy, but that's the price that you pay to have a rugged sidewall that will never leave you stranded. Unless you run out of gas... LOL

These 150's are tough enough to haul 10 ply loads. I haul 3000lbs worth of truck camper and off road toys on a trailer. Gotta have heavy tires.
