Help with 69 F250 vin decode
Howdy everyone,
Long time forum scavenger, first time posting. Back in May I was fortunate enough to buy my uncles 69 f250 with a running 390 in it for $500. I also bought my neighbors 68 f100(straight 6 240, needs clutch) for $100 to use for body parts on the f250. But time has passed and my mind has changed. I've decided not to use the 68 just for parts. My goal is to turn the 68 into a daily driver, with a 302 Windsor hopefully pushing 400-500 horse.
Anyway the 69 has given me issues when trying to decode the Vin. I've tried the fordification site with no luck, cross referenced my Ford shop manual (4 book set) also with no luck. So I am coming to the experts!
The Vin is F25YRG10069. Only part I am having troubles with decoding is the G10069 part. Any info would be much appreciated!
Heres my toys! 68 F100 on the left, 69 f250 on the right! Dirty pigs when i got them.
69 after a 3 and a half hour wash....woooo dawgy!
