Revolver x2 vs other tri folds

Hey all,
I know there are a lot of threads on tonneau covers but not a lot on the revolver x2.

I had the bakflip g2 on my old truck and loved it except when it blocked the entire window. I am trying to eliminate that and was looking at the revolver x2 but I live in phoenix and don't know how well the vinyl top will hold up.

I thought about one of the other roll into canister types but I routinely load my motorcycle/utv in the bed and those tires need that space to fit. The g2 had just enough room for my tires to go under it in my old truck but then the back window was blocked and I couldn't see if the bike/utv was moving at all.

I need the option of traveling with the tonneau cover as I go camping and like to take the bike/utv out and then lock up the extra stuff in the truck bed. So removing for the trip is out too.

Anyone have good experience in hot SUNNY weather with the revolver x2? I've read good things on the initial product but not a lot of long term stuff. I don't want to drop nearly a grand for something that isn't going to last a long time. I know the bakflip tri folds hold up nice in the phoenix climate so my other option would be the mx4 this time.

I've only had my Revolver X2 for about 18 months. My truck sits outside all year so there is no protection from the sun. We did spend a big part of last winter in Southern Florida so the cover was exposed to a lot of sun (never as hot as a Phoenix summer) since we've owned it.
The cover seems to be holding up well. The felt on the bottom of the cover is very nice idea. A black cover baking in the sun gets really hot. If it wasn't for that felt backing you probably would need gloves to roll the cover up.
I like this cover much better than the solid folding covers I had on previous trucks.

I'm glad to hear that you like it. I really do like the design compared to the solid folds and not blocking the window while transporting other expensive items.

I don't see a lot of soft vinyl covers in phoenix which is my biggest concern. I know the X2 is a nice grade marine vinyl, but I covered my motorcycle seat with one of the highest grade marine vinyls I could find and it shows wear after only 3 years when it is parked inside every night. I know the seat gets more use and bending compared to what the topper would be going through, but similar vinyls on both. I have also seen a lot of dashes in cars crack due to the heat after only a few years if you don't use sun covers. These two things lead to my concerns with the vinyl on the X2.
