Van cab on Fsuper

has anyone put a mid 90s E cutaway cab on to an Fsuperduty, or F series Frame? Thanks

Since you can buy a E450 cutaway, and there are lots of used ones I would think, why would you struggle to fit an F series chassis under an E series body, knowing the controls are in the wrong place?

Even if you already have these trucks they are worth more in OEM condition than any converted version.

$10-12000 will get you into the 2000s:

This really isn't the right forum for this anyway. Do you have something specific in mind or just a general question?

Well it's my 88 FSuperduty (doesn't that qualify as larger?) anyway it's got a 17ft rollback. I want to move the deck forward slightly by putting a van cab on. Our ferry charges by the foot for over 20ft vehicles, so the shorter I can keep it overall the better. Also the cars loaded on would be more centered between the wheels

I understand what you're talking about. But look at these two vehicles side by side:

I figure the steering wheel would be almost up against the seat back.

Also, a cutaway van body needs something to attach to. Otherwise the back is open and I doubt it would last long without support back there.

So you would have fabrication and re-engineering here from stem to stern.

As Dirty Harry once asked, "May I make a suggestion?".

85 your suggestion is a good one.
That Ford badged Mazda (Diesel powered here) are great little underrated trucks in your country. I have a 89 91 92 and 90 version.
