Problems with my 2017 F250
I just wanted to post this so anyone buying a new F250 superduty to know that I have 5 different issues before 500 miles.
I traded my 2015 F150 Lariat in on my new 2017 F250 Lariat. I had no issues with my f150 with 17k miles on it when i traded it in. I just wanted to have more tow capacity for my kubota and trachoe.
Ok heres where the trouble began.
When the F250 came off the trailer and before I took possession of it the drivers side door seal was damaged. No big deal I thought but water soaked the carpet and flooded the door sill trough. The dealer said they were going to order a new seal and have it fixed but was ok to take the truck. They did get the new seal in about 2 weeks after i got the truck. I scheduled the truck in to have it fixed and carpet shampooed the next day. I waited to hear back after I dropped the truck off and then the dealer said the new seal was damaged. They had to order another one, no big deal they cleaned the carpet for me and said they would do it again when the 2nd seal came in. The 2nd seal came in a week later and they fixed it. However my truck continued to leak water.
Next problem was the tailgate made a bang when it was closing. Dealer took the tailgate completely apart and had to replace the torsion bar in it.
3rd problem and WORST OF ALL.
The brakes were pulling really bad to the right when i pressed it. Really bad when i was pulling a trailer, and almost pulled you off the road. Dealer took it in and did some checking and said the right caliper was bad. They replaced it and said its better but still pulling. "service said its perfectly safe to drive". I got it back and said its not fixed and rescheduled it again. They called ford engineers and they said replace the left caliper. Still didn't fix the problem. Now my truck is on the FORD CARE PROGRAM because of the issues it has.
After a week in the shop the service dept changed the Brake control module and reprogrammed it. This fixed the issue for now (keep reading).
4th issue. The horn started to sound funny. I scheduled this in and the service dept said the high tone of the horn went out and the had to order a new one. scheduled this back in and they replaced it.
5th issue. carpet was soaked on the drivers side again. Took truck back and by this time i am furious. scheduled truck in again and after the service dept took the A pillar apart found the sun roof drain hose was not installed correctly and was leaking back in the truck soaking the carpet and door sill/ wiring harness again for the 4th time.
3rd issue agian. I now have my truck back and 1300 miles by now and its starting the pull to the right again. Keeps getting worse and really bad when towing again.
I have contacted Ford and requested my money back, and they reviewed my case and gave me an extended warranty. This is good for long term but dont keep my truck out of the shop. After the last issue they are reviewing my case again for a buy back and i have waited for 2 weeks for rep to call me back. Finally after weeks of dealing with all the issues ford customer service called me back and said my rep no longer works for ford and they have to start all over again reveiwing my case.
Should know something this week hopefully. Keep in mind this is a 60k Ford Lariat Fx4 loaded.
sorry for the long story but wanted to explain everything i can.

That's really horrible. I feel your pain about the moonroof. I vowed to never own one again after my 2010 F350 that I bought new started leaking into the cab at about 3 years old. Well the only way to get LED headlights on the new 2017 if a Lariat is to get the Ultimate package with the moonroof.
If anyone at Ford is listening, please make that moonroof a separate option on all packages instead of forcing it on someone to get other parts of a package.
I'm praying that this doesn't happen to me again.

The Dealer needs to step up and resolve these issues with toco1000's Truck and make it priority!

I feel so bad about the problems you're having.
I read the Super Duty Truck Factory in Louisville KY puts out 88 trucks each hour.
-> 88 vehicles/hour is amazing number. That's 2,112 trucks per day.
I bought a 2016 F450 and have not had (Not one) any problems while going on a year except a 40mph bounce that started after replacing the OEM tires with more rugged traction tires.
Buyers usually take the time to post when they are having problems and you rarely hear from the other millions. 2,112 trucks/day is 63,360/month or 760,320 year.
This 2016 Ford F450 is the nicest and most beautiful truck there is with the Dodge 3500 RAM Limited and next the Chevy 3500.
