I probably should have done this years ago, but finally joined this forum. I have a 1952 F-1 that I've owned since the early 80s when I was a high school kid. Grandpa bought it for the farm brand new and always in the family. I've owned it the longest though!
Welcome "New Guy" In the Fire Service we call them Rookies :-) I also am working on my Grandpas Truck and it has been a fun adventure. You will find help here! Good luck and I look forward to following your progress.
Good to see another truck with family connections--and a 52 too! Does your truck have the original I6 engine? We always enjoy pictures, and you have demonstrated that you can post them. Welcome to the FTE forum. You have come to the right place for help and support for your project.
It's really all about the sound for me. Nothing quite sounds like winding out the gears in an old crash box transmission. It's a sound from another time and place. I learned to drive on my truck, and driving it again is always something special.
