so i work for a construction company down here in midland tx and we have a 2008 f250 super duty with the 5.4 triton well ever since i replaced the power steering pump its been running raggedly, it idles rough and when i get up to 50, 55, 60 the check engine light comes on i put a diagnostic reader on it and said somthing along the lines of ECU bank 1 an Bank 2 i have no idea what that is and ive been a mechanic for almost 3 years granit i was only taught diesel in AIT.
any answers please.
Bank errors I think refer to O2 sensors. We need more details than "Something along the lines of Bank 1 and Bank 2" there should have been an alphanumeric code(s). Better detail will get you better answers

Sounds reasonable to me. Recently owned a 2003 Cadillac. Among the problems were O2 sensors. The errors read as Bank 1 Sensor 1, Bank 1 Sensor 2, etc. as there were 2 sensors in each side of the exhaust.
