D44 knuckles swaps

I've been told: 1) any ford p/u D44 '73/9 F100 - 350.
2) same w/the FSBrnk ('78/9)they'll fit.
Some use the F150 to mod TRO due to the bronk's weird '76/7 discs.

The bolt holes in the top of the spring cups that attach to the knuckle / beams are wider for 78/79. So there is a difference to look out for. You need to stick with pre 77. That is if I'm on the right track of what you need??? I was referring to the white pieces in your pics. Some people say a knuckle is on the end that the hub brakes attach to???

Based on your other thread, it appears you have a 78-79 D44. You cannot interchange with drum brake knuckles because the spindle bolt pattern is different, and the 76-77 Bronco disk knuckles use a different steering arm. So your best bet is to find a replacement knuckle from a 78-79 F-150/Bronco.

Which reminds me, the knuckles have several differences themselves but the major thing is disk had 5 hub bolts and drums had 6 so that is the killer for direct swap. The others had flat top differences and 5 lug hubs out can't fit onto 8 lug knuckles without massively grinding them down. The flat tops is a long story with 5-6 variations?

Any knuckle from a 78-79 half ton would work for you in this application. Supercabs are a tad different but all critical measurements are direct swap.

You have pictures of the front of the radius arm, differential cover, steering linkage and outer assembly: basically pictures of the whole front axle assembly. Im not even sure what you are asking. The knuckle is the outer part that the ball joints, spindle and brakes attach to. What is wrong with it?

nucks - continued

got a '76/7 frame (w/the 'Y' ster. linkage). Will put in the TRO & swap 2 the "T".
Some say U must get the F150 knuckles 4 this.
-Any special yrs I should source?-

As the vehicle is coming out of service (70% woods wrk) there will be little income to support it any more. The 1tuns conversion will B a slo process.
-Would the '73/9 F250 (donner 4 the 1tun conversion) also due in this combined process?-
