Need your thoughts- 20s or 22s on 35x12.50R

Undecided on 2" or 2.5" leveling kit for Toyo 35s either 20s or 22s without tire rub. My KR should be in late next month. Anybody installed 22s on their 35s? Is it too much wheel and not enough rubber look wise?
Also Ive been running the MTs on my 13 with a 3" lift and had some rubbing, but reading alot of people going to the RTs. Why is that? Looking to keep this one driving and feel as stock as I can.
Alot of excellent input on the leveling kit thread and thanks in advance for any input.

I'd go with the 20's. There is not much of a sidewall with 22's.

Thats what Im thinking but have 22s ordered. Still curious if others have done the 22s. Also the difference in the MTs to RTs.

I don't understand the big rim fad.

20's as big as I would go, and i'd still pick a more conservative looking rim. The rubber band wrapped around a huge rim looks downright stupid IMO and makes the truck look even more useless than it already is.

There was a post here just a couple days ago with a guy who just put some 22's and lift. I'll try to find it.

Those are 37's tho. I'd say 20's with 35s, 22 with 37's, keeps the aspect ratio about the same

Agreed. I've run both 20's and 22's in my past on 35's. The 22's looked goofy no matter how much I wanted to like them. They also were heavier and more difficult to keep balanced due to their increased sprung weight. As soon as the tires wore down, I listed them on Craigslist and replaced with 20's.

That said, I'm considering 22's again but only because I will be running 38's this time and I think 22's look better with that tall of a tire. My BMF 20's on 35's are for sale on Craigslist now. When they sell, I will replace them with the larger tires and wheels. I wanted a 6" lift on this truck and it needs a taller tire to look in proportion.

How much are you asking for the wheels and tires and where do you live?
