1) Log out of FTE
2) Clear your browser's cache & cookies
3) Log back in; did the message go away?

Ok I logged out and the web site displayed "all cookies cleared".
But the problem remains.

You have to activate the Private Message and email features. I turned the Private Message feature off, because I was being constantly pestered.
Upper left: Click on USER CP then scroll down to EDIT OPTIONS
btw: ctubutis is FTE's Moderator of the 1980/86 F100 and larger truck forum....and a computer "whiz-bang."

Yeah, but that's not the clearing I'm referring to... How you do this is dependent on which browser you're using, this site should help you:
https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic
Be sure to clear
everything in the cache, and, at a minimum, any cookies related to ford-trucks.com and ibsrv.net and
then log in again.

And now, for no apparent reason, the problem is fixed. It says I have zero. Which is true.
