I've had good luck with the Motorcraft severe duty pads and use bendix (wearever) rotors from advance since the pads will prob eat them up. Got the pads on Amazon
Raybestos Advanced Technology Metallics were night and day over OE in my '06 F-250 on OE rotors. Just threw a set in the rears on my '08 F350. Great price and much lower dust as well.
First time I removed that caliper bracket on my 2011 I needed a pipe and breaker bar. They are assembled with loctite.
Air or expensive battery powered impact will do the trick as well.

I got a bit of advice about the calipers on Ford trucks a few years ago when doing front pads. The Ford certified master tech. said replace or rebuild all the calipers at the same time. I laughed, cleaned the caliper pistons as I do on all my vehicles and pushed them back in before installing the pads. After bleeding 1 of the calipers was locked open so I replaced it. Fifty miles later, while towing on the highway the other front seized and got so hot it blued the rotor. Lesson learned.
I just replaced pads AND rotors on the rear of my '08 for peace of mind. Come to find out the calipers fail many an owner. Both of my '06 rear calipers locked up on the road a year after it's purchase and not because of a pad change.
