Does somebody here have the wiring diagram that will work for a 2010 2.5L gas system? I came across such a vehicle and I suspect fuel pressure... it will start and run for 10-20 seconds before gasping & dying, and I can't find a Schrader valve on the rail to test the pressure.

Big thing is, I can't hear the fuel pump pressurizing the system when turning the key on - but the engine will run for a short while, and if I put it in gear to try and move it during that short while, it will then gasp & die in 1-2 seconds. Makes me want to investigate fuel delivery.

The fact that it starts and will operate for a short while leads me to believe the problem isn't with the inertia switch, FP relay or fuse but I'm nevertheless wanting to investigate all of that to at least rule it out.

The OBD-1 Taurus SHO has a way to go ground a pin the the OBD connector to run the fuel pump, do modern vehicles have such capabilities? Yes the CEL light is on but I don't have an OBD-II code reader and the thing won't run for long enough to take it to a parts store (it's actually stuck in a WalMart parking lot right now).

There isn't one, therefore you can't find it. In order to connect a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, it's necessary to insert a tee-adapter into the supply line.
