Edelbrock?

So i was given an Edelbrock carburetor. I am having hell finding out if it will fit my 73' F100 302. I rebuilt it, and im trying to find a throttle adaption that fits my throttle lever but all im seeming to find is throttle cable adaptions. Its a 1405 carb. can it even fit my truck?

Not sure what kick down you have .... here is a 1405 on a 351M with C-6.

Look again ..... mine has a rod for throttle ..... that chain thingy is a cable for the Sears Cruise Control I put on in the '80s which still works.

I used a Ford throttle kit from Edelbrock but i had to modify my kick down rod slightly, but my rod was from a c4 and i am using with a c6....that may have been part of why i had to modify. I also use the factory rod throttle linkage. Mine is also a 460 that went where 302 used to live....so that may have caused more differences. You should be able to make it work.

Holley makes a kick down rod extention for when you are instally a 4V carb where there was a 2V. Part number 20-41.

I cut my kick down rod and welded in a section of threaded rod to adjust the length.

I need to get a welder and learn to weld properly. Last thing I welded was my wedding ring to a brake line when I was installing a battery cable

It's funny now, but it was rather shocking at the time...
