1966 F250 Rear Wheel Hub assembly help needed Woburn
i am in the process of doing a full restoration of my 1966 F250. i know a little but for the most part i am figuring this out as i go. i am having one hell of a time getting my rear wheel hubs to go back on the axle correctly. truly this should not be this hard as there are very few things to do. yet, 6 months later, i still cannot get this right. i need help with this wheel hub issue and in a more general sense, i could really use some guidance every now and again on the tough things. is there anybody in the Woburn area who has a 60-75 who has done a full restore? i am losing my mind over this and it should not be this difficult. please help if you can. even a phone call about some of this would be greatly appreciated. many thanks. craig.

i did not replace the original wheel hubs. i am guessing that one of my problems may be that i don't know for sure the torque i am supposed to apply to the inner nut and the lock nut when securing the wheel hub to the axle. my ford manual does not have that setting. any idea what the torque is supposed to be for those nuts?
