I see you have 84 reads & no replies yet & I don't know the answer either but bet member NumberDummy does, so toggle up to the Community tab atop the page header, click on it & scroll down to "Members" & look up NumberDummy, Ford parts specialist & send him a PM, or supply a link asking him to reply to your thread, bet he knows the answer. Will be interesting to read the answer.
Bet you could find the diode at a good salvage yard.

Do you have the old diode? I have a couple old diodes from Rangers, but do not know what year they are for. One is black part number F0VF-14A604-AA. One spade goes E-W and the other one goes N-S. One spade is larger then the other. The other type i have is gray color part number F2TF-14A604-AA. This one has the same spade orientation but both spades are the same size. If you don't have the old diode, maybe somebody with a 93 will pull theirs out and come up with a number. Did you try a Ford Dealer?
