Stainless Valves

400 Valves
I am looking for a set of single groove stainless valves for Australian 2V Cleveland heads.
Intakes are 2.045Dx5.232L
Exhausts are 1.656Dx5.050L.
All I can find are 4 groove, buy I'd rather not use them.
Much appreciate any help.....Thanx: Bill P

Best place I found for single groove Stainless Valves was Ebay .
Theres a few guys on there that have regular bussiness on there selling parts..

Search for 351 .. Good luck in your mission...

But why don't you get the 2.19 and 1.71 and have them fitted to your heads for some increased flow ..

I got my single groove valves from NAPA way back when. Don't remember the part # they were on the shelf and they were what I needed. Seems to me that there is a year that FORD went to single groove exhausts. I think it was 79 in the trucks but I'm not sure. As for intakes any machine shop with a good selection of parts catalogs should be able to help you out.

Thank you much......The heads are in the shop now. Had new hardened seats & bronze guides put in. He says he didn't have the time to search for them yet...it's the end of August and people are still trying to get boats in the water. He's swamped with marine engine work. Manley makes them for the 4 bbl heads, but not for the 2 bbl. I think you're right about the '79 exhaust valves being single groove. I've got a pair of '79 heads apart now- they're singles..

Last time I went to my old machine shop I took a 12 pack of his favorite adult beverage in an ice chest full of ice. I traded him the beverages for some time in his catalog room. When I left I had all the part #'s I needed and he hooked me up with a bunch of his old catalogs.

Now I live in the big city where I don't know anybody, I'm not too sure how they would react to that kind of neighborly treatment. About the same if I had to guess.

Good luck.
