V10 on F53 Motorhome Chassis with 5,324 miles

Looking for Motorhome with the F53 chassis I will caution you!!! You have been forewarned!!

Our 2015 V10 with 5,324 miles, yes I said 5,324 miles....has been down for the past 10 days and at its 3rd Ford dealer in 2 states since it's block gained a fist size hole while going through a school zone in Virginia.

We live in this motorhome as we closed on the sale of our home to full time in this rig and have been rendered essentially homeless due to 2 incompetent Ford dealers in Charlottesville and Richmond, VA.

Now we have found out from the 3rd Ford Dealer in Greensboro, NC that our home was towed from Richmond, VA to them with the driveshaft intact and not pulled which means transmission is possibly shot.

After these dealings with Ford we have lost all faith with Ford and their F53 chassis and V10 engine.
We need our motorhome in Knoxville, TN by Oct 28th as we have purchased a rig with a more trustful Cummings 425hp rig and we were laughed at when we were at the repair facility in Greensboro, NC.

Personally my wife and I don't think this is at all funny, especially since it was towed with driveshaft connected....I will deal with that personally at some point... after Ford replaces it along with the engine and includes full warranty for both.

Interesting story.

Be forwarned, you're probably going to get some negative feedback on this.

Keep us informed on the ultimate diagnosis of the engine.

OK, your new V-10 threw a rod and holed the block, that does suck. But why does it have to keep going from dealer to dealer to dealer? And how is it Ford's fault that the tow operator didn't know what he was doing with the driveshaft disconnect? That's a pretty common thing, either drop the shaft or pull the axle shafts.
By the way, your new Motorcoach has a Cummins engine, (not Cummings) and at 425HP (Diesel pusher) it sounds like you have stepped up to a larger more upscale RV than the F-53 chassis rig, probably more suited to full timing. I hope your new rig treats you well.

Wow, I wonder how that happened. Elaborate, please.
