Spark plug opinions for 215 6 cylinder?

I've been using Autolite 216 plugs in my '52 with a 215.
Stock carburetor, Pertronix ignition, still 6V positive ground. Runs great.

It gets moved in and out of the shop every day, and this causes the plugs to foul now and again -now that its gotten colder outside. I have a wall mounted plug cleaner, and cleaning them works fine- but it's a chore if I just want to run to the parts store quickly.
Anybody use another plug?
Thanks!

Are you using the choke a lot? Once it's running it's better if you hold a fast idle (choke off) with the manual throttle (if you have one) or the gas pedal.

If it's oil fouling, there isn't a cheap /easy solution other than JCWhitney "anti foulers".

It's fuel fouling.
Start up cold- 60 F in the shop- pump gas pedal 3X pull choke out 1/4 of travel and push button- starts right up, usually I try to push the choke in as soon as its running smoothly- I have to rev it up a bit to start the generator charging- then back out of shop and park it.
Late in the day- 45 F outside, same drill- pull into shop and disconnect battery.
After cleaning the plugs today, I did lean out the mixture screw about 1 full turn, test drove it 6 miles and seemed to run fine.

Not enough run time or velocity to clear/clean plugs. And if they're fouling you can imagine the carbon build-up that's probably also occurring. Take it out for a long drive once a week and enjoy the drive while helping keep it clean inside.

Wow! I can just imagine what that's doing to your engine oil. You really need to do as CBeav suggests. Get her out on the road and stretch her legs. Get the oil temp up and boil off that moisture, and evaporate the gasoline.

Agree with all the above. Get it out and WORK it. Different plugs will not solve that problem you're having.
