Your probably right, that's what I keep telling my dealer and Ford. But the point is....it shouldn't. If yours does this every time you get on it, then you should definitely take yours in and get it fixed. Since yours does it so consistently it should be easy for them to track down and repair.

 

Again, the rotten egg smell is NORMAL.

The fact that it's getting back into the passenger compartment is NOT.

 

I had mine fixed, it was exactly what I told you. It was the fresh air vents in the inside body panels at the rear of the cabin. They closed them off , that was the only fix with the rear exit dual exhaust. All in all it's an excellent ride and I like it, yes I'm not as **** about some things as others are but I weigh the cost. Anytime the dealer starts tearing into your new car it up the odds of crap falling apart or rattling and that, I CAN NOT live with.

 

Well Ford finally, after 8 months, got the new toe links in to repair the recall they notified us of in April. Wife's 2014 Explorer Sport has been repaired and we can start utilizing the vehicle again. Sad it took Ford so long to correct such a serious safety defect in one of their more popular vehicles. Surprised none of you had the same problem with your Explorers considering it affected, I believe, over 75,000 vehicles.
