Newbie question about wheels and lift kits
Hi. I'm new to this awesome forum. About a year and a half ago I took the plunge and purchased a brand new loaded 2015 F250 diesel Superduty. I've been choking on the payments for a while but I am close to finally purchasing some wheels. My questions are as follows:
1. I'm looking at the 22" XD Bomb 806's. What do I need to know to purchase these? I do know that I have a 8x170 lug pattern but how do I know how wide I want the wheels? What about offset and backspacing? I think I want the 22x10's.
2. I'm also looking at the 35" Toyo A/T II Tires LT325/50R22 122R E/10. I am assuming these won't work on the stock suspension? Which leads me to my next question.
3. I guess I'm looking at the Rancho RS6524B 4" Front Lift kit and the Rancho RS66551B 4" Rear lift kit. Is this what I want? I thought I read somewhere that I want a 2.5" lift kit to level the truck?
4. Do I need to buy shocks if I do the lift kit? The Rancho RS9000XL's ok?
5. Do I need steering stabilizers if I go to a bigger wheel and tire? The Rancho RS5000 Dual? Will those work with the lift kits mentioned above?
Thanks. And if you see anything wrong with my above mentioned setup please let me know. Is there a less expensive route? The above package comes out to about $5300.

Determined by the width of the tire but size you picked should need an 8 inch to 10 in wide rim. What about offset and backspacing? Any rim shop should give you a good idea. You want them to stick out just far enough not to rub. Too far adds more stress to your steering. I think I want the 22x10's. Should be fine
2. I'm also looking at the 35" Toyo A/T II Tires LT325/50R22 122R E/10. I am assuming these won't work on the stock suspension? Which leads me to my next question. I do not see why you it wouldn't unless you off road your truck. I assume your stock tires measure 32 inches. Going to a 35 inch tire means you will have 1.5 in less gap between the top of the tire to the fender. It will probably fit but will you like the look?
3. I guess I'm looking at the Rancho RS6524B 4" Front Lift kit and the Rancho RS66551B 4" Rear lift kit. Is this what I want? I thought I read somewhere that I want a 2.5" lift kit to level the truck? Most lift kits level the truck. This kit will probably add 1.5 more gap than you currently have WITH 35 inch tires
4. Do I need to buy shocks if I do the lift kit? The Rancho RS9000XL's ok? Yes unless you go cheap and buy shock extenders.
5. Do I need steering stabilizers if I go to a bigger wheel and tire? The Rancho RS5000 Dual? Will those work with the lift kits mentioned above? Not necessarily. I would put everything on. If you find you fight the wheel when you hit a bump buy a better stabilizer. I wouldn't buy a nitro charged one.
Thanks. And if you see anything wrong with my above mentioned setup please let me know. Is there a less expensive route? The above package comes out to about $5300.

Best advice I can give you is take your time. Don't just ask what you have to do but try and understand why you have to do it. Then when you start looking at parts read reviews and try to find the difference between someone who is genuine and a guy who just likes to pound his chest. Meaning there will be a guy who will say something is junk but has never used the product while always saying what he bought is the best even if it's the worst. Take your time and make the right choice for you.
