1st plate
2nd plate on top of the 1st.
All three plates together

The wheels have removable pieces and that's what you painted, right? But you didn't paint the entire piece - looks like you had some details on them painted?

I like the look of track bars but I've been told that track bars aren't the best for suspension performance but I know they help reduce/eliminate axle hop. Is that your understanding?

Will you paint the door handles too?
I am using track bars because of the possible axle wrap, especially towing big trailers, and the look. No the door handles will stay chrome
Yes the wheels come with three unpainted plates each slightly smaller. The bottom plate and top plate are powder coated gloss black with the middle being candy apple red

Nevada California Border (Pahrump)

Took my daughter up mining roads to ride her dirt bike. Mount Montgomery is in the background.

Mining Guy, that truck looks great. Nice color. Are those 18" rims? Don't remember seeing them as an XLT option?

The wheels are 20" Platinum or King Ranch wheels, I bought from a "buy back" wheel exchange company here in Denver. I paid $1,700 for the wheels and tires (10miles on them).

That would explain why I didn't remember them as an XLT option! They look great, really changes the look of the truck. Price seems very fair considering the tires are essentially brand new as well.

Hey Rod

Went ahead and attached the specifications for my particular model from forest river website. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Very nice! Looking for something very similar! How is it on the truck? You have almost the same truck I ordered. I am disappointed in the load capacity of the F250 Diesel. I am guessing as per your driver's doorjam you are right about maxed out with empty pin weight? Not judging...just looking for insight.

Thanks again!

Thanks, loving the truck so far. It has the high-capacity tow package, so upgraded rear axles, rear overload springs, and max front springs. Basically an 350 SRW with 250 badges. Pulled the fifth wheel a couple days ago about 20 miles just for a test run and honestly couldn't even tell anything was behind me. First diesel I've owned in awhile and really glad I came back to them. As far as pin weight, because of the upgraded Dana rear axle, my stickered pin weight isn't correct. Supposedly with these upgrades my RAWR is 7280, allowing more tongue weight.

Went out and played the other day. She's got some pretty decent articulation.
