Nice.

Looks to have a manual brake pressure lock on the dash. We had similar item on our tow motor at work. Press the brakes, flip the lever and it holds the brakes.

Thought I had seen that in tow trucks before. Non custom cab dash and bump tailgate leaves me wondering a little.

Odd the steering wheel is cracked an shows a lot of wear, also looks to have a cracked windshield drivers side.

The firewall looks pretty messed up from paint running over the old stock green color.

But we all know what rust bubbles mean some attention is needed in those areas.

All in all pretty nice truck what we can see in those pictures.

Makes you wonder when the truck was dismantled and painted?

Seller posted a pic of the Warranty Plate. There is no COLOR code and it has a 6 digit DSO (422264)

Which means the truck was originally painted a non standard color (colors?), making it a Domestic Special Order.

Truck was assembled in Kansas City MO .. ordered from the Fargo ND Ford District Sales Office.

Seller claims in the description it's a Sport Custom, there were no Sport Custom's until 1970.

The P/S has been swapped in. P/S wasn't available for F100/250 4WD's until 1973.

Tailgate is from a 1967/72 F100/350, the tailgate finish panel is from a 1968/69 F100/350 Custom Cab/Ranger or a 1970 F100/350 Sport Custom.

The Custom Cab door trim panels and their surround mouldings are missing (holes are visible where the mouldings once were), as are the armrests.

Padded dash has been removed, leaving only its mouldings. Red plastic inserts are missing from the fender emblems, the front bumper has been painted the wrong color.

The wheel covers with the black centers (rear) are in-correct, they're from a 1966 Galaxie/LTD

1966 F100 4WD's had similar wheel covers, but the rear covers had red centers, the front 4WD covers had a red plastic ring that surrounded the 4WD hub.

These wheel covers were also standard equipment on 1967/77 Bronco's.

Seller claims the truck is all original, it isn't. I doubt the 44,000 miles are original, based on the repaint, reupholstered seat (wrong material) and the faded speedometer and gauge needles.

And, the OP posted this ad in the wrong forum since it's a 1966.

$5000 would make me thirsty. But 8 G's??? Too many odd things that don't add up to 44,000 orig. Maybe put a 1 in front. If I was close I'd take a trip. The other thing is the $1000 DOWN HOLDING FEE NON REFUNDABLE??? WIUWT??? That smells too.

Stink meter is too high. Would love to have a 4x4 slick though. Maybe when I finish mine...
