I am unable to locate anywhere if the Platinum edition has rain-sensing wipers. The vehicle detail sheet only lists windshield wipers - interval control.

If you were to add the Tow Technology package to a Lariat, then the rain-sensing wipers are listed.

Could someone with an F350 Platinum please verify if they have the rain-sensing wipers, and if so, what package/option are they listed under?

I ordered a F350 CC Platinum and am getting them. The Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers do not come as part of the standard Platinum package and it does not come as part of the Platinum Ultimate Package. It comes with the Tow Technology Package (Code 96T). See the attached document on Page 31 which indicates that they come with the Tow Technology Package.

 

According to the order guide, they are standard on Platinum trim...page 3 under Driver Assist...standard equip. Part of the Tow tech is included on the Platinum, and part is included in the Ultimate pack...page 31 (96T) is available to add to Lariat and KR.

 

You are right about the wipers, good catch.

 

Got them on my KR and it is fun watching them adjust and turn on and off.

I have them on my Lariat Ultimate. I find them to work OK, but in reality the user still seems to do a better job with appropriate wiper speed. Fortunately Ford lets you do both.

Auto high beams seem to work reasonably well, except for the lunatic on-off in city driving.

 

I got worried after reading through this thread that I didn't get the rain sensing wipers or auto high beams on my Lariat Ultimate I ordered in August. I ordered adaptive steering and the 360* camera package for $400 less than the cost of the tow package at that time and the only thing i didn't get was the lane departure which I hate anyways. Today looking through the order guide the only way to get the wipers and headlights is with the Tow Technology package which has come down in price by almost $300. Talking with Chat they did confirm that at the time I ordered my truck the Lariat Ultimate did include rain sensing wipers and auto high beams. Chat also confirmed the order guide did change on 10/06. Has anyone else noticed changes from the original guide?

 

I have looked a couple of times for the new order guide but have not found it posted. Hopefully someone will come up with a link. Too bad the order guide does not include the MSRP for the various options.
