Hey all,

I am going to be looking at a truck this weekend which has a paint matched Tommy lift gate, with the paint color being that burgundy red that was so popular amongst the early generation king ranches. I am just trying to figure out if there may be anyone out there with a decent tailgate and bumper who would be looking at going to a lift gate that I could work out a potential trade with. My other option would be to just go and buy the tail gate and bumper and try to sell the lift gate.

Any who, just trying to see what kinda interest there is out there in lift gates.

How much for the lift gate? I had one on a half ton pickup. It was really handy. I used it a lot. I kind of miss it.

Chris, I don't have a picture of it right now, it came down off of craigslist awhile back and I didn't save the pictures. I will for sure get one this weekend.

As mentioned earlier, I would prefer to work out a trade if possible if anyone wants it. If it does go to someone wanting to purchase it, I will take it to emails/PMs. With that being said I would have to put some thought into a price on the thing if I end up buying the pickup.

There is an Eagle Lift on the local Craigslist here that has been for sale for quite a while. Not sure if that helps you any. He is asking $400.

 

I would be interested in it but I would be having to buy it straight out. The tailgate and bumper on my truck are not in the best of condition.

 

Went and looked at the truck this weekend. I was a little disappointed by the amount of rust on the truck, so I'm not sure if I'll buy her yet or not. Tried to upload a picture of the lift gate but my computers not having it.
