Disable Auto-4WD : Ford Explorer
I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition 5.0L V8 4WD. It has the 4wd selection but the selector shows (AUTO, 4x4 High, 4x4 Low). Is it possible to make the AUTO into 2wd. So can i amke it ONLY 2wd while in auto mode and only go into 4wd when i selct to?

Welcome to FTE.
With that system you are in 2wd unless the rear wheels spin. You want to be able to do power slides, don't you?
