Byron, I forget what fuel system mods your doing but if its nothing crazy I highly recommend the LUK SMF stock clutch conversion kit. I think they said its good for 325hp. When we installed one in mine a couple years ago it was amazing how nice the pedal feel was.. I havent had a single problem with it, gear rollover was a bit noisy at first, ether I got use to it or it dissipated, ether way I dont notice it now..

No, it's open, which sucks.

Corey, I agree. If I didn't already have a Southbend SMF kit on the way, that would have been my choice. I am hoping for decent pedal feel from this one.

Ahh, ok. Why'd you choose that one out of curiosity? Do you have the part number?

Well, $$ and that it's coming from a member on here AND it holds a little more HP than stock for towing. I'll see if I can get the part number.

How do you mean? Is the Valair stiff?
My trans is extreamly easy to clutchless shift up and down as a point of interest; not that that has anything to do with the clutch.

Yes. It's pretty darn stiff. Not bad at all if you just get out and drive. It only bothered me in traffic. Then it could be no fun.

How did I miss this? It's not my fault these trucks like RPM's and those speeds are where she naturally likes to tow! Lol

And I do like making time...
