92 f150 4.9 siezed smog pump delete
Alright guys for those who have answered my previous posts i have not responded yet but have read them and really appreciate it. You guys are really awesome. Anyways i have another issue im addressing here. Im about to take my truck on a 1400 miles trip which im weary of... My smog pump is clattering like crazy and im assuming it will sieze up soon. I would like to know if anyone has the belt size for a 92 f150 custom 4.9 with ac routed without smog pump? My truck has a brand new egr system and deleted cat i would like to know how i should do this. Just reroute and ignore the pump or take out the hoses and plug it up? Anything helps! Thanks!

Good luck. Worse case take a piece of string and measure...

I've never done this before, but from what I've read you would remove the pump and plug the hoses/pipes. Maybe you could leave the pump and everything and just put on the new belt. I would do a bunch of research before attempting it. I've also heard it's not hard to rebuild the pump.
Any body bypassed the air pump or removed it want to add some advice?

I did this on my '88 a few months back, same concern, and no issues thus far. I just got a shorter belt through trial and error, ordered maybe a dozen different ones. I found that because of how all the accessories run, that I'd be able just to bypass the air pump rather than track down a delete kit. One doesn't NEED to get rid of the old pump, only reason I did is my aftermarket lower rad hose wasn't made perfectly, and wanted to rub on the pump. Sorry about the lack of professionalism in my photography, there's a reason I'm a mechanic.
I used a Continental Elite #4060801
Not sure how similar our accessory drives are, hope this helps you out!
