Ford Telematics - Does it consume the OBDii port?

Anyone have the Ford Telematics on their truck?

Curious if they just plug the blackbox into the OBDii port under the steering wheel, or if they properly tie in somewhere else. (I have more stuff I want to add to the OBDii).

It does use the OBDII port, gets screwed in. I think it has pins though to still use OBDII for other things. I'll double check.

It doesn't need to be unplugged to scan. The OBDII is fully open and operational.
From my Telogis rep.
