I've done burnouts in my current truck, but they're small things just to prove that I can do it. The only time I had enough power to really smoke the tires was when I drove to Long Beach from Colorado. 6000' elevation makes a big difference in available power.
I would never roast a brand new set of tires like that. Plus, the stink is nasty and seems to stay with the truck.

Awesome. Just totally awesome. I have seen this deal play out, let me fill you all in on what happens next. See, junior don't care 'bout those tires, next stop will be the off road shop where this truck will be transformed into a proper 'Bro-dozer' with a lift kit and way-to-big wheel/tire combo a couple of weight ratings below what he just fried. Maybe a big stack too, and surely a tune to completely void the warranty. Nice! Not too long after, he'll have a mess of trouble with the truck, caused no doubt by his expert driving and cool mods.. Of course the dealer will void the warranty clear back to Louisville Truck, and Mr. Owner will have to pay to get the thing fixed. Might take a while to raise the coin, probably got 72 month financing with his $2000 down payment and doesn't have a lot of loose cash for costly repairs. No matter, after 18 months he'll be tired of this 'POS' truck anyway, and trade it in on a Ram and start the process all over again.......

You're either lying to yourself or not a auto enthusiast if you cant admit to exercising your rig once in a while....but then again i own a 10 thousand dollar truck, quite a bit different than these new luxurytruckmobiles!

I couldn't get the tires to turn on my gas 6.2 / 3.73 axle rigs...except on wet pavement, so no worries there. On my diesels, I'll admit to chirping the tires once in a while...but I surely wouldn't be doing burnouts or donuts.

not that I've ever tried to do a burnout in mine but I never though that they were capable of this amount of tire smoking! kind of impressed to be honest, and it's not mine so I don't have to pay the repair bill either. Heck, my 2014 Mustang has never done a serious burnout in my hands so I guess this just isn't my thing.
