FINALLY Got a new one

For a couple years got close to ordering and kept backing out. Got down to the last day of ordering a '16 and backed out again. Drove a '17 and didn't care for it as much, so got a wild hair and searched nationwide on my salesman's database and found a '16 that matched most of what I wanted and pulled the trigger.

Great thing is when I was going to order it on Z plan, was getting $1250 in cash back. With them wanting to clear '16s, got $6750 cash back on Z plan!

Doesn't have a few things I would have ordered, but the good thing is it has nothing I didn't want. Also had to have them drive it from TN to KS to my dealer, so has 500 miles on it, but it is great and there was no charge to get it to my dealer.

F250 Lariat Crew Cab, 4X4, Diesel, 3.55 Electronic Locking Axle, Upfitter switches, Camper Package, Lariat Interior Package, 18" Wheels. Love this truck. Quite a change from my 16 year old F250 I ordered new in 2000.

Always have appreciated the help on this site, including the dozens of posts of input each year I almost ordered one!

The old and the new:

I didn't care for the relocation of the upfitter switches to the ceiling, the push button start, some change up on the options (don't recall exactly which one off the top of my head), and liked the look of the '16 a little more.

Push button start is cool. You dont have to get the key to unlock the truck and just push the button to start the truck. Its a cool option. I have it in my Taurus SHO and love it. I cant believe my truck is 2 M/Y's old.
I do however love my truck. You will love yours too. We have the same options just mine is a 15

Appearance wise, I can generally agree that the 2016's are a bit better looking in some if not most areas. However, the upfitter switch's new location kicks ***. That's where I wanted them to begin with. The push button start I could take or leave.

Nice looking SD, I'm sure you will get the use out of it as you did with the 2000.
