It's October, 2016 Already. Boo!

New month, new thread.

Been up in Weiser, ID visiting an elderly aunt and uncle. Long drives each way, though Marge's Pilot performed flawlessly.

Lots of nothing out on some stretches of US-95, and when I re-set the "max speed" on the Garmin it read 92.3. I'm sure that happened while passing a truck (or something), but still faster than I (or the legislature of the State of Nevada) want us to be traveling.

I guess the tires are balanced too well.....

So, this begins a new month in the land of B.S.

How fast before the speed limiter kicks in pop?

My superduty is 93mph in stock programing.... and runs outta power after 115mph in modified programming. Havent found the speed limiter in the van yet, but i also havent had it out in no mans land yet to test it alone.

It hadn't occurred to me that it HAD a speed limiter, but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did.

I'd suspect that if I looked at the speed rating on the OEM Integritys it would give me a big clue.

EDIT: They are 104S, and I doubt the Honda will go anywhere near 112.

October! Steve and I always agreed, the best month of the year.

Justin, don't think I would be riding in that van at anything over 90. The number of rolls before reaching a static attitude increase exponentially.

I once had the Scurge up to 93-94mph (back when I had stock sized tires) when there was a noticeable drop in power. I assume that was a limiter at work.

In other news, visited 12 places of worship today via bicycle. The Iman who talked to us was fascinating. United Methodist minister was my favorite.

The 2000 Superduty that I have is speed-limited to 93mph, which is the speed rating of the OEM tires with which it came from the factory.

I guess anything more would open up a legal liability can-o-worms for Ford.

I don't know what the speed limiter is on the Thunderbird if it even has one, but I do know it is above 112.

Good morning SoCal. Had Black up to 96 passing someone. But, I think the tune takes out the limiter, not sure what her top speed is now....and not sure I want to find out!

Couldn't pass on adding another pic, not in the Sierra's as so many have been recently posted, however, a facility that probably only one So Cal member would recognize.
Wonder if any others would seed the light?
