Cruise Control

Hey All
Here's one I hope someone has experianced before...unsolicited acceleration, meaning, I set the desired speed, and the cruise takes over, and then begins to accelerate on it's own (like I am holding down the ACCL button)...Anyone?

Sounds like the ACCEL button is sticking. Get a Haynes manual and a multimeter, and test the resistance of the button circuit. With no buttons pushed, the resistance should be infinite (open circuit). If it's stuck, just replace the horn pad with one from a junkyard.
