Tiff is dragging me to the craft fair in Ozark today. ....ok, maybe not dragging, I like going. They have some cool stuff there usually.

I got the battery in Earthquake relocated to under the bed, and the rear mounted kill switch working. The of stuff I need for MTRA is getting smaller. ...I still need to get the hauler squared away, too. Forty days until I have to be on the road again to Indiana. I want to be better prepared this time around.

 

Alan have you test fit your 511 flash gear outfit yet? Will they meet MTRA standards? if a tan one piece flight suit would work better, let me know.

So you need a halogen system for the eng compartment?

Ol red truck has a fresh battery, new voltage regulator, starter solenoid...cables and grounds are good, and all I get is the key buzz....

I double checked the wiring connections.

 

Rich. As of right now, I don't need a fire system. Just an extinguisher inside. (which I have)

As far as red goes, check the fuseable links by the solenoid. It sounds like you have a bad one.

 

good evening all.. jeff made it down and drove right to the yard and got to walk around looking at junk.. then he didnt take but a hour or so to drive the 10 miles from the yard to the shop... but once he got there i did have a lot of fun watching him crawling around on the floor under bullet..ha ha ha ha .. he managed to get the trans filter changed.. did not see any major chunks of metal or clutch inside.. just a little bit of h2o and a touch of friction material residue.. so i can try to start it now without worrying about sucking any trash into the trans..


rich let me know if you need a hand getting ole red fired up.. i may need a ford part (transfer case shifter) for bullet anyway

 

ohh i also need the wiring schematic for 78-79 ford 4x4.. i thought i had them copied at one time, but if i did i have since lost them
