Working with RC has given me a new respect for tools...which ones you need...which you don't....etc....
Well I picked up a bench grinder today off the list for $10. It was down in Joplin. I was working there and it was 6 min from the courthouse. Wire wheel needed so I can clean off old rusty threads... I can't believe it was so easy at RC's!! Lol. Now to wire up my big air compressor! And get some more air tool stuff. I hope to lay down some concrete in the shop before long.

Frankentruck just came close to having all the EFI ripped out and a traditional intake & ignition installed. I had the idle speed all straightened out last night before I called it a day. This morning I fired it up and it shot straight to 3,000 RPM and would not come down. I shut it down and switched to Big Green and headed out to work madder than a hornet. A bit of probing around this evening revealed that the new Chinese TPS I installed was bad and stuck pretty far open. Pulled that puppy out to take it back and got another that was a step up in quality and made in the USA. It's in and the truck is happy once again.
Let's see how it does in the morning...

i guess i will have to start taking my truck's to jeffs to get him to fix the things i cant.. probably should start with these bronco's..ha ha ha ha
i kinda got a lot done on the black one today.. it is mostly bolted in and have most of the modification's that it need's figured out.. took a lot of time just to get the old exhaust manifold off, most of the bolts have studs on them holding on brackets and such and none of them came off .... made for a lot of work...

Evening All!
All that's left on the S-10 is the tin work in the bed. Then I have to pull in an accident victim and get that done. I have a major purchase to make in the next few weeks. I don't want to jinx myself until I get it, so no advance notice.
I will say I plan on making a world record attempt with Earthquake. I want to do the world's largest car crush stack.

Afternoon All!
RC. I'm not sure how it all works yet. Since they don't actually have this category, they have to do research and see if it's a viable attempt and see how many other unofficial attempts were made. Then they'll assign a minimum that I have to have. It could take up to 12 weeks for the application process, so I scheduled it for April 15th. That way I can have time to gather the cars, venue, etc.
I had to take a break and clean the shop up before I got on the wheel tubs, but I did manage to get one fabbed up before I left for lunch. I need to get back and get everything finished up.
