Valve Cover Identification

Valve Cover Identification
I'm hoping someone can help me identify a valve cover. I bought it on eBay to replace a dented cover on my 1961 223, but when I went to install it, I found the bolt holes don't line up. In appearance, it is the same as the 223 cover, with 8 holes, front oil filler, and the F-O-R-D letters on top.
The original 223 cover bolt holes are 4-7/16" on center across the width, and the replacement cover bolt holes are 4-5/16" on center. The length is the same on both.
Could this cover be off a 262?
I can't use it, but if I can identify it I'd offer it to someone who can.
Thanks
