Towing a 1995 i6 2WD manual
Hello!!!
I am heading out of town next week to purchase a 1995 F150 Flareside 2WD i6 manual. I was planning on towing it back (1600 miles). What are my options? I am towing it with a 2008 f150 rated up to 8200k lbs. towing weight, and has a factory tow package.
I can't just use a dolly the transmission will still be turning right? Is there something like an Axle lock? Or an effective/simple way to dis-engage the trans.?
Can you flip it on a dolly? How would you stop the wheels from turning?
What about 4 wheels down towing?
Simply rent a flatbed/car transport?
Thanks for the help!!
