Unhappy 1994 f150 flareside no spark no fuel

i got the truck the way it is. i replace the ecu 1 time and it ran immediately after, for a few days. i was driving one day and as i was shifting into second gear it died on me. i let out the clutch and its bump start back up so i towed it home and then pulled the coil wire off and had no spark so pulled fuses and checked them. all were good, so i pulled the ecu again and opened it up just to see that nothing was blown up. is there a way to bench test it? and if not what should i be getting as for voltages from those sensors that may be giving me issues? or is there one to do the same as blown ecu?

To test if the PCM (ECU old name) is stopping the spark just unplug the PCM and check for spark again.

If you now have spark you either have a bad PCM or a lack of power or grounds to it.

If you still do not have spark and you have power to the ignition coil then more than likely a bad PIP sensor inside the distributor or bad wiring.

Yes haha I hear both all day and use them both lol. I know it is stopping spark for sure. But this being the second time it happened it isn't a fluke so was hope to see what I should see for pin readings with key on. I have the ecu (pcm) lol in my hand out of the truck just kinda stuck until I know what I should see for the pins. Multimeter is also in hand lol

Are you saying you have spark now with the computer in your hand and removed from the truck?

Just got out to check everything and started checking fuses. Well pcm fuse is blown but why is the question. Any ideas? I noticed my coil wires were bare copper. Both. Could that have popped the fuse?

I drove it but I'm uncomfortable with that cause I would like to fix it completely. And figure out why it was blown.

Yes it would as fuse "U" is the source for both the PCM Power relay and the Ignition coil.
