no, AE will not tell you if you have bad O-RINGS. even if you have a powerstroker it will not tell you.

and i do the same thing. 88 is my baby, but the 02 diesel or 04 gasser are now my daily drivers.

Well based on some IPR numbers supposedly it can be an indicator. I have no other issues so i am goin to swap glow plugs and ill do orings when i replace injectors. I had planned on replacing glow plugs and was going to do orings if i could determine it was necessary

on mine it took several seconds of cranking to build injection pressure over 500psi (required to start) and then truck woul start up fine as soon as it hit 500psi. replacing the orings fixed it. i used my phone with $10 app to monitor engine parameters.

AE is a $300 engine diagnostic tool IDI owners do not have to buy.

Shawn, I was laughing my a$$ off at this, thinking... WTF are you thinking!!!

my IDI is my daily, and my 01 F350 will be my long distance runner, with a 98 E350 as a back up.

while you have the injectors out, pressurize the cooling system and check the cups!

I did the same thing the other night.
freaking out powerstrokers with questions about an IDI part... in the 99-03 forum lol
