Both engines are the OHV Engines. What all would I need to swap everything over? Intake/Exhaust manifolds? Heads? I'm a diesel guy but I've heard these 4.0 OHV trucks are reliable. The Ranger I blight had 229k on original engine. So what do you have to swap so I know which gaskets to get for replacement?

Nevermind. My question is. Will the engine bolt up? I read through the article and it said that the crank keys are different. However it didn't really elaborate where? I didn't notice anything about the output shafts being different.

 

It will bolt up, yes.
