Horn stays on

1999 F-250 with a horn that comes on at random. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do to fix it? I removed the relay to stop it for now.

I too removed the relay. Problem is the CC is on the same circuit. I'd love to know how to fix the problem.

Horn fixed!

I found the problem. I removed the fuse block and GEM. Looks like the connections had been wet. There were some rust stains on some of the connections and surrounding area. I cleaned them with Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner and blew everything dry with compressed air. The moisture came from the firewall penetrations. Several years ago the previous owner had an aftermarket stereo installed. They did a good job except they did not get the grommets reinstalled in the correct position. I also checked around the windshield to see if it was possibly leaking. That appeared to be sealed pretty well. Also sprayed the door switches with WD-40 and door ajar light went away. Good luck Fat Diesel.
