I bought a 93 f150 302 5.0 a year and a half ago I put a remanufactured engine 3 months ago ran good for until this week i drove for about 30 mins started acting like it didn't want to go up hill kind of bogged down a little. So I pulled over and popped the hood the passenger exhaust header was glowing bright red so I shut the truck off and let it cool down. The engine was not runnin hot at all so I drove it home at low speed and rpm it was not glowing when I got it home I tought it might be the catalytic converter so I cut a window in it and broke the catalyst in half pulled it out and it was perfectly see threw. I'm affair to drive it again until I figure it out at the risk of braking something so I don't know if it is still glowing and also I changed the plugs and wires a week before this happened because the wires got burnt on the same side but it didn't dawn on me that the exhaust was getting hot so it may have been going on awhile
