58,209 of our brothers do not have the opportunity of weekly car shows & etc. During the national anthem I still see disrespect . It makes my blood pressure spike . I can feel it in my forehead . One of these times it is going to cause a confrontation . Once I asked the person to please show some respect . After the song he apologized .

Firstrider--that's an awesome picture you posted! Oh, the memories of a different time and place. And your truck is the tangible connection. Good for you for saving the picture and the TRUCK.

The daughter of the local paper Ed. was in visual aids class in H.S. & was the person who took the pic back in the day . She posted it on a friend's facebook page who I went to school with . Contacted him & had it sent to my daughters in B-Han , Al. via email . She enlarged & copied it for me . She is making up some thing photo related of the truck for me . That is all I know. I am sure it will be a great surprise . She presented to me a very special B-day / Xmas present for my 39th yr. on earth . An Akita puppy . I was speechless . He was awesome . Had a litter of 3 pups sired by him . One female looked exactly like him . I gave her to Alisha in return for Luke the present dog . It was meant to be .

Denny, I love that picture of your truck and the cause.

It looks like you have more guys on your truck than I did on mine in this parade pic from 1977.

My first bike was a CCM, I got it collecting beer bottles in the ditch.

That 54 Bel Aire parked in front of the Park Lane motel looks exactly like my 54 - if my high school girl friends dad saw that pic I would be dead !

It's a 1953. 1954 has different tail lamps and deck lid emblem.
