In Ohio, back in the day, white socks like those meant you were from Parma. ;-)

What's on the Ranch Wagon, a pre-heater for the fuel? Just in case you couldn't get your car to vapor-lock?

Yep ! WJW Channel 8. Ghoulardi...blowing up model cars on TV, Big Chuck and Hoolihan !
Certain Ethnic ! White socks, Pink Yard Flamingos and Pierogies ! I'm surprised that someone actually remembers that
Long before "political correctness". Archie Bunker comes to mind....Growing up in West Park, I can relate.

My Family's business, Meister Electric in West Park.(just north west of Parma) from 1921 to 1976 with Grampa's Chrysler Windsor, Uncle Ray's cheapo Chevy and Dad's Dart to the far right. In the garage, resided two 55 Ford Panels and a 55 Express Delivery Vanette for jobsite material delivery.

Which Country ?

Imagine this....It's 1960 and your Father is in the U.S.Army, stationed in Germany. His given name Is Meisterknect, as his Father was born in Essen Germany. Essen is in the Rhineland to the East of the Check Point. My Father, at risk, ensured that I was birthed in the same place that his father was born.
