2008 escape trans or cv shafts???

Hey guys, not sure where to post this. Anyways I have a 2008 escape xlt with 112xxx on it. It runs awesome without a hiccup! And shifts great.... Except every once in a while if you let off gas when approaching a hill where speed limit drops and you give it gas it will "clunk" as it down shifts... Or when you give it very little gas going thru a murge corner.... It will do it than as Well but not all the time... Also every time you put it in gear weather its drive or reverse it take its a second then kinda "clunks" into gear... I always use e brake, when parking. Another thing to note is fluid is up to mark, no burnt smell, and is every so slightly dirty.. As in its not quite new looking fluid, it doesn't seem to slip either, I can fly around corners and it won't affect shifting and 1st to (last drive gear) it shifts smooth like you don't even know its shifting, and occasionally I can hear some sort of slight tapping when radio is off and windows are down driving down asphalt road... What is it guys??? Cv shaft or trans problem?
