How to adjust Excursion rear doors?

I didn't turn up anything good in the search, but is there a way to adjust the latches on the rear lift gate and barn doors so they are tighter? With the barn doors being fiberglass, I didn't want to damage them..

On the hatch, there is a striker on either side with 2 torx bolts per striker. Loosen them so they are just loose enough to tap the striker in slightly. Make a very small adjustment at a time. Tighten the bolts and check the adjustment. The striker for the right door is on the left door. Do the same. The striker for the left door is on the sill above the license plate.... adjust the same way. Small increments.

I wasn't getting any adjustment by loosening and tapping so I removed the bolts and there does not seem to be any adjustment play available in that design. The holes are not elongated and the recesses are tapered to fit the bolt heads. Any advice? thank you.

This was my experience too. I tried to adjust the doors and found the catches didn't move much if at all.

Do the door seal mod to the barn doors. Worked great for me to tighten them right up.

It worked so well that I decided to do all of the doors. Quite possibly the best dollar-for-dollar mod that I have done.

When I bought my Ex the rear hatch would rattle over any good bumps. The way I described was how I got rid of the rattle. I loosened the bolts a bit, and used a dead blow hammer and large punch to just tap the strikers in a little bit. The nuts on the backside are caged. Perhaps yours are all the way in already ? If so.... do the door seal mod. Mine worked to get rid of the rattling hatch.
