Those holes do not appear to be where the pop out windows would have secured to. Here is the breakdown.

Here is my mod for this. I have a 75 SC. I believe that you will have room for it.

As for the plugs, they are just holes on mine, but that allows for easier work concerning your mounting plate, since you can use the hole as the center. The two small holes in yellow were for the opening windows. Disregard those.

There are nuts behind the plugs. I think they are for the trim on the outside of the truck.

You can probably drop the mount down from the top back there just as 9thpony and I did in the B pillar.

I went with these, in black (#1000) with the floppy end (#408) and with the hardware kit (#104).

In retrospect, I kinda wish I'd spent the extra $7 each for the retro metal buckles, they look cooler than the base plastic ones.

Since you are looking to put them in the rear, you may want to go for the non retractable type. The retractor is kinda big and may not fit between the bench and the side of the cab.

I'll post a write up on the install tomorrow in a new post so it doesn't get lost.

Hmm... My 78 F250 Supercab didn't have those access holes. And neither did the 77 F150 Supercab I parted out. But those holes are definitely access holes to the outside trim. The second truck I cut the roof off and saved those trim pieces.

Wesco

can anyone confirm which kit I should get from Wesco?

I am assuming this is the one I need?

3 Point Retractable Seat Belt Bench Seat for Standard Roof Automobile

or should I go with the non-retractable option?

Depends on front or rear seat.

I don't think there is room for the retractor in the rear and you mentioned kid seats. If the seats have built in harnesses, you can get away with lap only. If they are booster seats, you will need the 3 point belts so I'd go with the second link.

For the front seat you could go with either but I way prefer the retractable ones from your first link. They are they same ones I got even if they have a different part number due to using the wizard.

I went with the retractable on my crew. It was a little tight but got it to fit. I'm not sure how the crew cab seat clearance compares to a super cab.
