No Heat?

Hey everyone!

My bronco will warm up and maintain engine temp with no issues...hot, cold...whatever. But for some reason I'm not getting any heat in the cab when I turn it on...luke warm at best. Any ideas on what might be causing the issue? Cold weather is coming and it'd be great to have a 4x4 that wasn't freezing haha.

Your blower motor is working fine? If it is you should confirm that you have coolant flow through your heater core, it should get pretty hot. If it's not that you might have a problem with vacuum hoses for your controls. Make sure the vacuum motor(small canister thing with a vacuum line and rod coming out of it), against the firewall on the far passenger side corner (sitting on the plastic blower housing) doesn't have a cracked line; make sure the little arm sticking out is connected to the piece coming out of the housing.

What year? My 94's temperature control **** cable was worn out and wouldn't allow the door to close fully, letting cold air pass through as well. The door is behind the glove box. New cable from Ford, and good as new.

Hey there I've got a 95 Ford Bronco and I had a bad vacuum line underneath the dash underneath the ashtray and one on the firewall passenger side where the control mechanism is that controls that flapper deal that's how I fix mine

Thanks for all the quick feedback! It's a '92 with a 302. I'll check on the blending controls...but every so often when I lift the hood I can smell coolant. No leaks of any sort...beginning to wonder if the heater core was bypassed by the previous owner for some reason.
